Legacy Buffalograss mixed with Blue Grama or not??

I am buying Legacy Buffalograss plugs TOMORROW (Thursday) but I haven't decided whether to plant Blue Grama grass between the plugs or not.

If we go with only the Buffalograss, it will be more expensive to establish, but it will not have the tall blue grama seed heads to deal with.

If you have seen Legacy planted with or without blue grama, could you please let me know which you thought was better? Thanks!

I mixed both. The leaves look identical. The only way you tell the diff is when you don't mow it and the seed heads give it away. I like the seed heads of blue grama. Blue grama clumps are more dense than buffalo but buffalo spreads by stolons whereas blue grama doesn't (much). They complement each other well.

Plant the blue grama. That way you get the blue grama seedheads!
