I just recently got into gardening. I planted some seeds, and ever since the pot and the dirt are covered with ANTS. I planted sunflower seeds and vinca in containers. How can I stop these or make them go away? We don't have a trashy yard -- it's actually quite tidy thanks to my type A husband. No garbage, no trash, no clutter of any kind. Not even a compost heap yet. I'd like to plant an herb garden or some vegetables eventually, but I'm a little hesitant now that I see the incredible ant problem. Is this something I just have to live with? I'm in Zone 9 -- Arizona. Thanks for any tips!!!
