What are some Full shade Mediterranean Plants

I'm planning on what to plant in the flowerbeds on the sides of a stairway that leads to my front door. I do not get a lot of rain here and the Mediterranean theme would go well with the architecture of my house. I'm planting lavender, rosemary, thyme, bay laurel, citrus, and some bougainvillea. The problem is that 2 feet away from the entrance none of the beds get sun all day, so that area is full shade. What can I plant here that requires little watering and tolerates full shade but also goes with the Mediterranean theme? I'm interested in shrubs or tall plants for an architectural accent.

Did you ever come up with any plants?
