| Hi all,
I would love to know of some great nurseries in the Tucson area. I am mainly interested in fruit trees (tropical, subtropical, and unusual temperate) as well as native desert plants.
Thanks in advance for the ideas... |

| Four of my favorites: Mesquite Valley Growers (18 acres)on far East side; Catalina Heights Nursery and Harlow gardens, more east/central; Desert Survivors, west of U of A campus. Enjoy. There are actually many more good nurseries in Tucson, but these are very good. |

| I am not familiar with Tucson Nurseries, but I live in Queen Creek and our climates are very similar. Meyer lemon does very well (though citrus). Peach, plum & apricots are excellent here. You will need to get them in the ground pretty soon though, so they can get established before winter. |

| Thank you so much for the info, I will check those places out when I'm there next month. If I buy anything like citrus it won't be going in the ground, but potted in a sunroom (since I'm in zone 6)... but thanks for the advice. |
