I am looking for input on what to plant in the planter at the entrance of my Palm Springs condo. This planter gets almost no sun. I will be putting the condo on the market and want to plant something attractive there. The planter is about 5 feet wide from the house to the walkway and about 12 feet long and runs along the walkway to the entrance. It gets watered daily by the irrigation system.

Right now there is a lot of papyrus (looking weedy) growing in it along with some lantana that is probably the only lantana in the city not covered with flowers. I think it needs some sun. There is also a Mexican fan palm and that is about it.

I was thinking of some New Guinea impatients. But I need a few more plants, maybe something taller. The eve of the condo should not be a restriction.

Any ideas?
