Tree Seedlings

Hello Friends:

I will be buying tree seedlings next fall, they will be in a open field in the desert, with drip irrigation.

Can somebody please answer the following questions?

Who are some trusted tree seedling suppliers and were you happy with them?

If you were successful with you tree seedlings can you explain me the process that you follow?

What materials did you use?

Did you use tubes for protection?

Did you plant them immediately in the soil when you received them?

Gardening with Socrates:
What spp. of tree? What's your soil type? What's your water source? Where are you planting the trees? Why are you planting them there? How many are you planting? Bare root or container? Zone 8a where specifically? Will the trees be looked after or planted and left on their own? Have you tried local growers?
Have you tried contacting your local Co-operative Extension Service and/or Master Gardener unit?

trying out some Moringa Oleifera seeds. They're really hardy and might grow well out in the desert. Will keep you posted.
