'Bright-Edged' Yucca in PART Sun?

I have two beautiful "Bright-Edged" Yuccas but only a couple places I can plant them. Would they do best in Full Sun in a spot with clay soil (so-so drainage) or a PART SUN location (raised bed) under a Bradford Pear tree with very good drainage? I'm guessing their color would be somewhat affected by the lack of extended sunlight, but they should otherwise thrive in the dryish soil I'd guess.

Any suggestions are welcome...thanks.

Yuccas prefer really, really well drained soil.
I'd take my chances with part sun and well drained soil over clay for these. Hope the soil isn't too rich tho or you may get somewhat floppy growth. The well, drained sandy soil they prefer is pretty lean.

Rosa, thanks for the helpful info....I have just the place for them, and only hope the lack of all-day sun will not affect their contrasting colors.
