how far to space bushes for screen/hedge

| I've read somewhere that is should be 1/3 to 1/2 the mature width of the bush. Is this correct? |

| What kind of plant are you talking about ?? Where I live you can space plants that make up an hedge anywhere from 2 to 6 feet or more !! Depend on what you are growing and the time frame. Good Day ... |
