I live in the mountains of central california. We have severe water problems up here. LA wants to take much of the water from our area. What really bothers me is all of the large expanses of water hungry lawns they have down there. We up here don't have the water for lawns at all but they still think they should be entitled to our water and waste it on their lawns. For the most part, our water is for the necessities of life.Should the state of California ban water hungry lawn grasses,such as fescue, in favor of more drought tolerant grasses such as bermuda and native grasses?? Does any one agree??
