Mexican Bird in Colorado?????

Hi,
I am not sure if this is the forum to be posting on, and if it is not, please tell me so I can move. I just did a search for Mexican Bird and it seemed that all of the messages were on this forum, go figure! So my question, a trader recently sent me four Mexican Bird Of Paradise (Caesalpinia pulcherrima) seeds, that's what they were labled. Well, I'm in Colorado, zone5. Can these be grown as a house plant? They will have to go into containers. If not, I guess I have a few seeds to get rid of! Like I said, if this question would be better on another forum, please let me know.
Thank you!

| You could probably grow it as a houseplant, just make sure it gets plenty of sun by a window. A frost will take it out, and it can be outright killed in the teens. Pat |
