ANyone growing bearded iris in pots in San Jose?

Hi all,
Its my first time posting a message here as well as planting bearded Iris in my life. Has anyone planted iris's in containers? Can you share any tips on when to plant it in San Jose region and how to care for it?

| Short answer is no. But I do grow tiger lillies and calla lillies in pots on a west=facing balcony in Santa Fe. I followed the info given me by the bulb people at the nursery where I bought the bulbs and what was in the Sunset Gardening Book and they did just fine -- so much so that I intend to plant more.
