Looking for bedding flowers for winter

I live in Aguascalientes, Mexico and want to plant some bedding annuals among my hydrangeas which grow in the shade. I was thinking wax begonias and coleus but am worried that a frost could kill them in winter. What are some reliable bedding plants for zone 9 where the temperatures are daytime 60s and nighttime 30s with ocassional frosts.

Pansies are usually cold hardy to temperature in upper 20s and they will love the daytime temperature in 60s.
Same is true for some geraniums.
Ornamental cabbage and kale which come in different colors are quite cold hardy too.
