I came back from palm springs.. at the Living Desert Zoo. I had seen the Lysiloma watsonii "desert fern" there and really liked it. Is this something that could live in san diego ?

They should do well in sunny south exposure location. Although they like heat (native to Tucson foothills), they should do well in San Diego. Anyway, they are very beautiful and worth trying. Good luck! dl
