Does anyone have experience with small magnolias in the Los Angeles area? I asked at the LA arboretum and they were not enthusiastic, but the ones I've seen look quite pretty. Anyone try Magnolia sieboldii? I want to put them in front of my bedroom (part sun) and bathroom windows (a lot of light, reflected, no direct sun). Any ideas or advice is greatly appreciated.
