Killing palo verde

I apologize to those of you who cannot grow these. Here in high desert they thrive - until we have a hard freeze, and then they need to be cut back. But they never really die, no matter how much toxin you use.And I am tired of using commercial toxins. Sadly no amount of cutting back or toxin will kill these incredibly messy trees.

Mine is a rocked yard and it is a a bi&ch to clean up after these miserable trees year after year. They spawn like ants....I need to remove a few babes that are beyond digging out and finish destroying one that is growing over all my incoming utilities.

Please help. I will plant another tree in a more appropriate location. This guy has got to go, how do I stop it from coming back!
