| I tried growing sunflowers with my 5 year-old daughter last year because I thought she'd really like the big flowers. Unfortunately, I chose a variety that flopped all over the place because the stems were not strong. What are some good varieties that stand upright? (tall or short). |

| There must be some special varieties just for New York, check at your local Nursery and see what they suggest. There are many varieties to choose from. Norma |
