Dragon Garden

My boys decided that they would like to create a dragon garden this year. Inspired by a picture of the Dragon's Tongue bean, we began to peruse our seed catalogues for more plants with dragon in the name or for things that just make us think of dragons.
So far we have come up with dragon's tongue beans, dragon carrots, thai dragon peppers, and snapdragons; as for things that make us think of dragons we've got molten fire amaranth. We like mixing veggies with flowers and other plants, so we are open to anything! If you can think of a plant that either has dragon in the name or just makes you think of dragons, please pass it on (and if you know of a source for seed, that would be great to note).
Thanks for helping us out!

Heather, Thanks for the great suggestions - I love sedum, so we will definitely have to find the dragon's blood! It seems that each seed or plant catalog I look through has some great dragon plant! It;s going to start getting hard to choose... Ellen |
