Hi everyone.I have been wanting to grow a tee-pee type structure with vines or whatever would provide shade and fun for my 2 sons this summer. But I'm concerned about snakes being in it when the boys go to get inside.

RE: Snakes inside childs climbing garden?

Hi,
I've had the same worry. Several years ago I tried the sunflower house but the weather was so dry I couldn't get them to grow no matter what. This year I'm gonna try again and I've worried about snakes but then I thought, heck, as much noise as my kids make no self-respecting snake would stay within 10 feet. Plus, we have 5 lazy, spoiled cats who I'm sure will attempt to take over the sunflower house this summer.
