Quick-bloomers for lots of fun.

| I started my seeds WAY too early this year, I know. But I've been keeping far more careful records, and I've noticed that sweet alyssum blooms, on average, about a month after sowing. (That's less than a month from germination!) My 2 year old son is very excited to see the tiny flower buds, and can hardly wait for the tiny flowers.
What other quick-bloomers have you found? |

| Marigolds are the quickest in my experience. How about babys breath? For vegetables, peas and radishes. |

| Zinnias. Literally, just a few days to germinate. |

| I agree zinnias are quick. I also think cosmos might be quick too. And for something a little bit different and spectacular you might try moon flowers. This is a gorgeous vine and the seeds germinate quickly and in about 11 weeks the vine has flowers on it. The cool part is they only bloom in the late evening/night time and the blooms are very showy. |
