Flag Garden

Well, I asked about a rainbow garden, then my 6-year old decided a flag garden would be better. Actually, it would be easier to fit in my garden, too! So now, I'm looking for red, white and blue bedding annuals to make a flag. I'm thinking of alyssum for the "stars", obviously, there's not going to be 50 alyssum plants! I'm thinking of just planting big stripes of white and red, with a blue corner, dotting it with the alyssum. But what's a DEEP blue annual?
