Got a site!

I'm trying to start a kids' organic gardening club in my tiny community. Yesterday I found out we've been approved for a site! It's about 1000 sq. ft., south-facing, on the shores of our community's pristine mountain lake, with a ten-million-dollar view and beach access. There's some morning shade and a huge willow tree at one end that might, if judiciously pruned, provide a sheltered area for meetings. Now the real work begins: getting non-profit society status (hopefully by being umbrella'd under another organization), fund-raising, brush-cutting, fencing, building raised beds, etc.. We have huge populations of deer and geese in this area, so I need to secure the garden from these voracious vegetarians before getting kids to invest their energy in growing. Fencing is the major priority. I hope to start the club itself in about 10 months. This summer will be busy!
