| My little girl was so happy with the story I found about the bleeding heart that she asked me to find more. I thought I would share what I found. I must tell you that my bleeding heart has lost alot of blooms since I told her this story. Everyday she picks a flower so she can take it apart and see the pieces. She is very involved with the flowers in our yard. Last year she opened every tulip to see if Thumbelina was inside. I think it is wonderful.

| I love the series of Linnea by Christine Bjork. There is Linnea in Monet's Garden, Linnea's Windowsill Garden and Linnea's Almanac. They are very sweetly illustrated and packed full of great gardening information. Amazon lists them for grades 2-5. My favorite is Linnea's Windowsill Garden. Lots of projects to do. Neesa in FL |

| My favorite book in called, "In Rosy's Garden". It is about a little girl who gardens with her grandma, and the grandma tells her poems and stories about each flower, the meaning of the flower, and folktales about flowers. She also shows some old-fashioned crafts to make with flowers such as hollyhock dolls and daisy chains. |
