I was thinking of making one for my kids. Do you think 6 hours of sun will be enough for sunflowers?

RE: sunflower house

Sure should be mine grow everywhere! And my 5 year old Nephew, will be planting his in the next day or so. We started his first garden today. I found a local specialty lumber shipper that throws out a TON of "spacers" great for making pickets. So, with a small amount of instructions from me, he hammered the pickets together, screwed on the gate latch & hinges, and set off to comtimplate his selections. But of course Sunflowers are the first. I have about 6-8 different kinds and colors for him to try.
But 6 hours isn't to bad, I think it should work. I saw that on Rebecca's Garden and it looked like alot of fun.
Have fun,
Di
