Musics effect on plants

I just readed a previous message about musics effects on plants, and I find this interresting, because I am a serious composer and pianist.

Someone wrote, that the volume had an effect, but not what music, because "music" should be all the same, because it depends on style and generation. Perhabs its right, that plants are growing shorter but stronger when they "hear" music/noise of strong volume... BUT if we talk about CLASSICAL music (art-music), I think the music it self have an effect , maybe.

To definate the diffrens between popular and classical music, is that the popular music is just systematecly/organic sounds, and it is maded on socalled "illusion ideas" (unlogical, ideas, that is influenced by our childhood and builded symbols.
Classical music (art) is logical ideas, that mostly peoble dont understand, but its all about the philosophi to make meaning in a material, that is completely meaningsless (metarial: sounds) is perfect to create a "game" of sound (not just systems and organics) but ideas and games maded on methamethic magic...

Classical music (art) is not just showbussiness, but in fact realety...

AND THEREFOR I think this logical ideas can have an effect on the plants. That would be logic, if the realety of sounds could make something to plants when they grow, but it could also be negative effects.
Its already in fact, that some of Mozarts music is upgrading peobles intelligens, when they listening.

Please whrite back!!! I love to talk about music and plants!!!

Hey, have any of you heard music of the danish composer Per Nørgård??? He is famous because of his fibonacci-music and other calculated music... Play it for your plants and try, -but loud, because its importent to hear every tones in the music...
When I keep all my plants inside at winter, they are gona listning to lots of music, because I play it and listen to operas, symfonies many houers at day...

-and I have so much succes with most of my plants...

All the best,

Mikkel

RE: Musics effect on plants

I know of only one case where music has a definite effect on plants ... it occurrs with very loud music.

It's called : Flower pot falls off the speaker syndrome ...

It can be fatal to the pot and plant.

I do love to prune by music.

Good Day ...
