Shop built Wardian Case

Found this forum on Garden Web. Nice to see other people growing plants in terrariums. Being an amateur furniture maker, i enjoy building such things I call Natural History furniture. Aviaries, aquariums, wardian cases, orchid cases, etc. I have posted a picture of my Wardian Case.
It is built out of quartersawn white oak, with two grow lights, and a small computer fan with speed control mounted in the top. A ceder platform over a gravel tray supports the plants and supplies some humidity. The plants love it. Until I built this, my smallest plants like tiny sinningias, just would not thrive. Now they bloom most of the year. Nice to see others projects.

That is a beautiful piece of work. I'm inspired to start building one myself even though I'm just an amateur carpenter.
