| I was in our local thrift shop when I happened on this display case. For $50 and an extra $20 to have it delivered, it became my latest project. It was already wired with two 24 inch fluorescent fixtures, and six outlets (behind the mirrors) so a lot of the work was already done for me. I have added six more CFL, a fan and the waterfall. The biggest issue however was waterproofing the wood - which is something closer to particle board than real wood. I'm not sure how long this will hold up with the high humidity inside it, but its been a great learning project. |
