neem and small terrariums

Hello,
I have a few small (cookie jar sized) closed terrariums which have been infested with what I believe are white flies. They have apparently infested a bag of soil, which was then used in several of the terrariums. I would like to use neem oil since its non toxic and so versatile, but am curious as to the strength. I am worried about adding too much moisture in such a small enclosed space. Has anyone ever tried a very high concentration in a tiny amount? I'm new to neem so any help would be appreciated.

| I would use the recommended concentration and just leave the covers open slightly until the terrariums dry out sufficiently. The tough part is that you want to spray the undersides of the leaves since that is where white flies feed. You might also want to consider using rubbing alcohol instead since it evaporates very quickly and won't leave a film on the glass. It may require several applications though, since its effect is not long lasting. |
