If you are talking about Carnivorous plants terrariums, Nepenthes are the olny CPs that you can combine with animales. almost all other species have very delicate struvture and frogs or lizards can destroy them.
I think he was asking if the plants would hurt the animals. Here is my experience with CPs in terrariums with animals. First off, there are some CPs that should never be in a terrarium to begin with. Fly traps and sarracenia, cobra plant, etc. Any that require a winter dormancy. Secondly, it is hard to get them adequate lighting in a terrarium. Nothing beats full sun outdoors. The nepenthes make good terrarium plnats as far as growing conditions are concerned, but I would be wary of having small frogs in a tank with a nepenthes that has large pitchers. Most nepenthes will outgrow your tank unless you have a really tall one. They are slow growing, so you can keep them in there quite a while before they outgrow them though.
I have been successfully growing butterworts in tanks with frogs with no problems whatsoever. They have very shallow root systems, but even with my large tomato frogs, there has been no problem. These plants thrive in my terrariums. Sundews will do okay, but you can't really get them enough light, so they will be healthier outdoors. I have had a couple of sundews trampled by the tomato frogs, but they do well in my dart frog tanks.
The best CPs for a tank will be the aquatic and terrestrial bladderworts. The terrestrial ones have very nice blooms, and the aquatic ones help keep the water feature clean.
