You can pop on over to blackjungle.com and check out their step by step set up, pics too! if their process is to complicated for you, just silicone sheets of coco fiber onto the back and sides of your set up, place some epis, broms, and/or Ivy where you want them on the coco fiber =)

I use cork bark hung with wire onto the back wall of my terrarium. I have some spanish moss draped over it and small bromiliads stuck into holes in the cork. I also purchased a stone-like container (made of hard foam), which velcros to the back (or side) of the terr. In that, I put a hanging pitcher plant (my terr is boggy with carnivorous plants and orchids, mostly). I believe the container is made by Exo-Terra (Habi-scape), and there are small and large sizes. I LOVE mine... especially since when I need to maintain the plant, I just pull the container off the velcro, and it's just as easy to put back.

Would plants like ivy need to be potted, or just glued in place? I know you can glue/silicone air plants, just not sure about the ivy.

Im going to guess that you didnt go to the blackjungle.com site? There your question would have been answered =) with cork it will be a bit hard to plant an Ivy directly to the wall, you could train it to climb up from an Ivy planted in the substrate, but in the blackjungle.com set up you actually have pots imbedded into the background, you really have to pop over there and have a look for yourself, at least go over to our pics section =) youll find plenty of pics of the blackjungle.com method there too =)
