What are some small water loving plants?

I'm trying to give my salamanders tank a makeover. Currently it's mostly moss coverage and has one small tropical fern I bought. I'm looking for some plants to add to it that will stay small (6" high at most), and love lots of water and prefer shade. My guess is that house plants would do best, but I will try perennials if anybody can suggest anything that might work. Thanks.

Have you considered "Baby Tears" (dwarf baby tears)? I just found out about them last weekend. I bought some for a terrarium and my bonsai trees (instead of moss or with).

Anubias nana and some smaller Cryptocorynes..also mabe some Salvia natans for the water area...
