Plants For Frog Vivarium

Hello All

I have a single Leopard Frog (1 year old) in a 10 gallon aquarium with half of the tank "land" consisting of mediume size gravel/stone and 1/2 of the tank with 4" of water. I've got a light in the tank that is on for 12 hours a day.

I'd like to add some plants to the gravel side of the tank. Our garden center has these plants: Neanthe Bella Palm, Rosey Maidenhair Fern, and ficus carbernet (rubber plant).

Are these plants good/safe to use? I was just planning on removing them from their pots and planting them and the soil that the game with in the gravel. Because I do not have physical barrier between the wet side of the vivarium and the dry side, the plants' roots will be we all the time. Not sure if the constant water on the roots or the 12 hours of lighting will be a problem or not. Or if these plants would be harmful to the frog

Any advice would be appreciated.
