turns out the light bulb socket for my 5 gallon fish tank had been shorted out during a lightning storm when i was gone....so i had to resort to using an old one gallon fish bowl that i had....

Heres a look down inside the bowl....

In the back is a small type of Peperomia....

On the left and right is Strawberry begonia...

And in the front is some moss, that i hope will fill in between the plants once it starts spreading...

How do you water?

 o
RE: my 'Fish Bowl' Terrarium

i just gently pour water down in there until i get about an inch of water pooled down into the gravel drainage part...the water will work its way up into the soil as the plants need it.

If you use a hose and funnel you will get less soil disturbance. Just a suggestion of course.

well, i pour the water directly onto the piece of moss, so that water will seep through it, and down into the soil
