| Can I grow Neanthe Bella Palm, Rabbit's Foot Fern, and African Violets in one small terrarium? My concern is the palm's differing water requirements. I've read that palms don't need/like the same constant moisture that ferns and african violets need. I didn't realize this until I had bought the three plants for my very first terrarium. I thought they would work because of their mutual love for humidity! Any help is appreciated, thanks. |

| I believe you already know the answer -- "no". Humidity alone does not make them compatible roommates. Furthermore, even with the humidity you will still need to make sure there is adequate air circulation. Just thought I'd mention that. Btw, in a "small" terr, any one of those three plants will quickly out grow the tank if they are happy with the conditions. How big a tank are you using? |
