I ordered 28 miniature plants from Rob's violets. I talked to Rob and he told me they shipped them on 7/20/04. Well, I gave up because I figured if they came now, they'll all be dead. Today, 8/6/04 got the package.... I could not believe my eyes, every single one was in perfect condition,(only one, a begonia, didn't make it)like if it was packed yesterday... my husband and I kept looking at the post date, and it was 7/20/04! the poor things, spent 17 days packed, in a dark box, traveling 7,000 miles and don't how many bounces and bad/hot weather they went thru!
I tell you, the packaging was excellent! I never seen plants packed that way, they had insulation and individually wrapped, incredible! So, if you want great plants, excellent service, packaging and prices, you should look into it, the web site is: www.robsviolet.com
This was my first order from them, and it won't be the last!
Here is a pic that I took of them as soon as I unwrapped them.

| That's amazing. The plants look so good in the picture, it's hard to believe they were in transit that long. I want a box of cute little plants now too! |

| NICE!!! I will SO be ordering from them ASAP!!!! I love the ferns in the bottom right and top left corners. What are they? That's so great that they came through for you, and in such excellent condition! |

They are both the same, Nephrolepis 'Fluffy Ruffles', they were so cute that I got 2, I'll use one in the terrarium and one in a dish I'm making.
I made a mistake, the distance between NY and Guam is 10,000 not 7,00 as I said before... :)

I'll post a picture when I'm done, I just have few things to add.

Forgot! I also received 5 orchids from Petite Plaisance in California, 3 are miniature, so I'll be adding them to the terrarium.

| I thought that was the Fluffy Ruffles! I saw it on their website and loved it! Now I know I will order one for sure! And orchids, especially minis, are always great! =) |

LOL! Larry, it's about time for a happy ending, but I got lucky and had TWO! My orchid's order from California arrived also, now if I can get my order of fluorescent light in the next few days, I'm good...for now anyway...LOL!

Just adding my two cents worth. I have purchased from Rob's in the past and won't buy from any other source. They are great.
