Reptile Terrarium Help?

| Hi all,
I just got a pair of green anoles and I'd like to create a terrarium for them. There is no accessible sunlight available in my apartment, however, I will have a UVB lamp that I keep for the lizards. Any suggestions on some hardy green plants I could keep? Medium to high humidity and temps of 65-85 degrees in the tank. Minimal care, if possible. Oh and for the health of the animals, the plants cannot produce milky sap.
Thanks!! |

| Very limited options, IMO. Your intended setup sounds ... dark. I could easily be wrong but I suspect you are going to HAVE to provide more lighting than a UV bulb even just for the lizards's sake. How big a tank are you doing? Medium to high humidity will require a fan be included for air circulation. Stagnant, moist air is a recipe for fungus issues ... including ones that could be detrimental to your anoles. What do you consider "low maintainence"? Ferns might work as might pothos though both will likely need more than the UV bulb to remain healthy. |

| I have an Anole in a terrarium with lots of plants. I grow low light vines and other small plants in the substrate. For lighting I use a 60w heat lamp positioned directly over the terrarium. I mist daily and water the substrate/plants regularly... It works great Alex |
