tiny pencil lead sized snails

Well,

I had my terrarium bug free. However, somewhere along the line a couple of snails were introduced. (I believe it was from the purchased moss.) I do not want to dump my terrarium and start over but these critters have started havic. I have ortho snail and slug bait, which they just travel around, and tends to mold quickly. It is a natural fertilizer pellet form and I don't want to introduce any other chemical to the terrarium. I have resorted to picking them out by night+flashlight. And, since it is a closed terrarium, lifting the lid messes up the humidity. The snails are very small. I'm down to two a night. I've heard they can live in the soil for up to 3 yrs. How do I get ride of the little *? Is it possible to be snail free again?
