Pool Design

Hello Everyone,

I'm from the Phoenix area and would like any suggestions as to which pool builder to use, Rondo or Shasta. Shasta seems to do more in house work, meaning less subs. I'm also looking for feed back on my recently updated design. Here are the specifications:

-83' perimeter 375 sq ft. surface area
-3'-6' depth
-Pebble tec (tahoe blue)
-sun shelf entry w/water bubbler (using a return line with eye ball) 2- accent boulders
-25 sq. ft. waterfall
-Intellibrite LED light
-Infloor cleaning system (caretaker or Quickclean)
-Max-E-Pro 1 hp pump
-600 microban fliter Sta-Rite
-Leaf Vac, Quik Slim Skimmer, AVSC channel drain
-QuikPure3 Ozonator, automatic water levelerQuik Dek Chloronator

Shasta constructs concrete pads under the waterfall and boulders. Is this necessary? Is a 1 hp pump sufficient? I'm considering upgrading to the Aqualink system and intellipro pump. Is it worth the upgrade?

Price w/o decking is $23k. I'm considering travertine decking, 3pc. Would flagstone coping work or should I stay with the bull nose travetine coping?

Any feedback, pos. of neg. is welcome...

Thanks

RE: Pool Design

Poster has already discovered the pools & spas forum. Whooh...whole other world over there. I've always found it interesting how diverse the GW'rs are from one forum to another.
