thanks! I don't know what was wrong the first time. I didn't make it capital, and 'may' have forgotten the closing quote.

anywho...I have saved this thread.

Whoo-Hoo!

This shows you have to be careful. I put one bug in a post one time and now look how they've multiplied.

Does anyone see anything in my previous post, or just a box with a red X?

I see a broken picture. If I were using Internet Explorer I would see a red x. When I try to access the picture by using the URL I get this message:

I see what Bob sees, as I am using FF.

Yes Bob, that was your original bug.

Hello, Sue

Just had to try the blink out first

Used it on your greeting and couldn't make it blink.

Oh well, I must practice and don't know how to get back to this site as I hyperlinked from your message.

Oh yes, I have been meaning to acknowledge those blinking characters - bugs and little fruity cartoons with signs

There are other practice forums (if that is the right name foggy brain right now) and I will probably hit that tomorrow if I can hold out

Bye for now

have a good couch

dying to see what this look like. Hitting preview now.

Well, fudge!! Not funny.
ps: Are there any shortcut keys? (smiley face)

Where is the red color font in that last statement? Now I'm mad!!

ps: Are there any shortcut keys? (smiley face)

Sue, I will do better tomorrow. But I loved practicing.

The sentence above should not have been italicised or bold and I did end correctly it appears. Sometimes I have trouble putting spaces where they belong in the code. I need to be more careful to gain speed.

Oh, buggers on me. I found it. Of course, I did not close out at the end of the sentence correctly.

it is blinking for me

What browser are you using? Did I not suggest to you to make a Bookmark Folder named COMPUTERS and then save computer info tips, tricks, neat stuff as bookmarks in that folder? That way they are ALL together and easily found later.

Yes, The (On-Topic) Discussion side of The GW TEST Forum.

No, Over the years when I see a neat 'something' pic, gif, etc on the forums, I save it to 'My Pics'. Then on a rainy day I upload those pics/gifs/smileys/cartoons to different folders at Photobucket, so they are there and ready when I want to use one of them. I have Photobucket folders named
Funnies
Gifs-that one has stuff that moves and smileys.
Maxine-it has some of my favorite sayings of hers.

None that I know of...but you could ask at CH.

Sometimes I have trouble putting spaces where they belong in the code.
Yes, I know.

I need to be more careful to gain speed.
Well, in the real world of just using a little HTML code on your GW posts, you won't be using a lot of it. Now if you were writing HTML code for a web site, that would be a whole different ball game.

Sending you an email shortly that will actually 'show' all of the code as you used it in the post above. What I mainly use on the forums is italics when quoting someone before I add my reply...like I did here. I also use bold a good bit too, to emphasize what I am trying to say.
