I, too, have problems with cardinals pecking at windows. Thanks for the link, cottagegirl. I've noticed more than the usual number of robins here in middle Tennessee this week. I hope that means that spring is not far away. :)

thanks for the link....I have been doing some reading tonight. It seems robins are notorious for this. They are quite territorial and they see the reflection of the sky and clouds. They are trying to chase the reflection off. I had 5 hit my windows this morning..........You are right palmetto gardener.....there have been many robins this last week. I have seen group of 14 on the ground around the feeders.

Ahhhhh spring.......

Yeah, last week it looked like a "robin airport" here. They were flocking to my cedar trees and zooming back and forth. Today sure felt like spring didn't it?
