Oh what a sad day we ate the last tomato from the 09 garden. The taco salad, was very good though. Hard for me to buy the ones from south of the border. they just don't taste like the ones we grow. Looking forward to a better garden this year, purchased five bee hives. They better not attack me as I am too old to run.

I have my last three green tomatoes in the fridge and I am thinking of frying them for dinner tonight. That will be the last of mine from my 2009 garden. Good luck with your bee hives! My husband's grandfather kept bees up into his late 80s.

Wow...my last fresh tomatoes were eaten months ago...lol...Norm really is a mater nut! ;-) On another somewhat related note, It's that time of the year again for seed catalogs. This year i'm buying a few things to help me start earlier & keep plants alive later that will hopefully provide me a few maters to eat in the Winter. =) I love Jung...I think i'm gonna do my order from them this year.

I hope it doesn't give you a sore belly. :-) ***Don't mess with the hive on a cloudy day, wear your bee suit and always have SMOKE!!!*** Big hugs to you and Barb from Lavonne and I.

The closest I can come to matching that is the canned tomato sauce I used in our Chili last week! Yum - great on a cold day!
