Hi, I just signed on. Would like to find out what and when to plant here in TN.

ginintn, (Good name, BTW), You'll have to tell us more about where you live. For example, I live "near" Knoxville, but blooms on established woody plants here happen 7 to 10 days after Knoxville, whether it's Winter Jasmine (just now) or crepe Myrtles in summer. My planting dates are later than Knoxville's, unless I'm willing to protect (and I do.) I know there's a hesitancy to tell too much about one's self on the internet, but a county designation will usually bring good answers from a nearby or the same county. Ann

Welcome to the TN Forum!!! You will find that the folks on here are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. There are also three different plant swaps hosted by our members in the spring and fall. I'm not sure of the dates on the Knoxville Plant Swap and the Mountain Madness Plant Swap but the Middle Tennessee Plant Swap is Saturday, May 19th.
