Well, since no one else has answered, I'll take a stab at it. Maybe someone else will chime in with more info.

You said that you wanted something up to 10' high. Some ferns will grow to that size, but have you found one that will grow that big in a container? I'm not a fern expert, but I'd be somewhat surprised to find a fern that would do well in an exposed container and grow to that height. Maybe there are some, but I've just never seen one.

Now for the bamboo... Bambusa Multiplex 'willowy' is not hardy to zone 6b. It usually cannot stand anything below about 12 degrees F (solidly in zone 8). Your actual (not technical) hardiness zone is probably 7b now (depending on where you live). So you MIGHT get away with growing it with protection. But, having it in a container is going to make that even harder unless you plan on taking it in on the coldest nights.

Bambusa Multiplex 'willowy' also likes to be kept moist but also needs reasonably good drainage. You would probably have to water it frequently in a pot. When the bamboo gets stressed from being too dry, it's going to turn brown and look aweful. I think it might be a challange to grow this bamboo in a container in our climate.
