Who- The Cooper Project

What- A class about the tools and techniques used for seed starting

When- Saturday, February 16, 2008 10:00AM (until about noon)

Where- Meeting room at West Knoxville branch of Public Library. 100 Golf Club Rd., 37919 (on Kingston Pike @ the foot of Bearden Hill)

Cost- FREE!

What to bring- A pencil and paper if you want to take notes

How to sign up- Because space is very limited (only 25 spots), I'm asking that anyone interested in attending RSVP by emailing me at Ryan@thecooperproject.com

The class will feature lecture, demonstration, and a hands on look at some of the equipment and techniques for seed starting. Although it will be geared towards adults with little or no previous seed starting experience, all ages and horticultural ability levels are welcome.

Some topics to be discussed include:

 Everything you ever wanted to know about seeds

 Containers

 Growing media

 Thinning

 Hardening off

 Pest/disease control

 And much more...
