| How is everyone? With only a month of winter left it's time to start making plans for the MTPS. If you're new to GW and have never attended a MTPS before then you don't know what you're missing! Looks like the spring MTPS and ETPS have fallen on the same date this year; I hate that. It's always better to have multiple options! :-) Lani what's the scoop in Mempho? Stop by and check out our Facebook page at : You can always contact me at jtoothmanindadj@comcast.net Y'all have a great weekend, |

| Looking forward to MTPS. |

| Very excited for MTPS. Just bought a new folding table so I won't have to use TV trays again this year. ;-) |

| Hi, Jeff! I have recently moved to S Ky from Texas,( and GW won't accept the change), but I am looking forward to the plant swap, and getting to know the plants and gardeners in a new zone! Nancy |

| I am looking forward to attending! I doubt ill have plants to swap because I am a new gardener but, is it possible to put together "goodie bags" for trade? I was thinking of putting gardening gloves, a few tools, perhaps seed packets, small terra cotta pots and little bags if soil amendments? |
|
| I have several plants to bring but I am also a beekeeper-I have an abundance of beeswax-do you think that would be an item of interest? |

| It's only a few weeks away now! Where are all the swappers posting their have/want lists? Here's mine, copied from my post on our Fb group: Heather-Lin's 2013 Spring Swap List I have a lot to declutter out of my gardens this year! Rather than post a long, LONG list, instead I'll post a link to my sales album. The album has pictures for many of the plants on the list; it should save y'all a ton of time googling;) In addition to my public list, I also have red mustard seedlings, purple water pickerel, Ice King daffodils.... Plus oodles of seeds. Check my gardenweb link at the bottom for lists of those. I'll also be bringing orange tape and flags to help organize the rows of swappers:) What I'm looking for in exchange: ....,and then I just HAD to go and look at Mary's website (in mcMinneville) and found lots of neat things to add to my wish list LOL.... | Assuming something doesn't wipe them out between now and then, I should have: -A couple 'maters I'm looking to get into more bulbs, but I'm a total noobie, so I'm open to pretty much everything, lol! Also if you have good manure, I can break into my secret homemade strawberry jam stash. ;-) --JC |
|
| My goodness strawberry jam for manure, this sure sounds like a exciting event. How often do you guy's get together? I think I would love to attend one of these swaps. No manure but quite a bit of compost. Both are recycled stuff just a little difference in the odor.. Can I just show up or do I have to be invited? |
|
| You're officially invited! (So is everyone else, lol!) It's at the Henry Horton State Park. Here's the website with tons-o-info: http://www.midtnplantswap.com |
