I have seed for the plants listed below. I am thinking about growing some for the East Tennessee Plant Swap, but wondered if there was an interest. I do NOT want to set up any type of pretrade or promise at this time; I just want to know if there is an interest. Please let me know if you would want any of these IF they were available, and, if so, how many seedlings you would want.

Hmmm, Looks like I may not have to set up my new seed starting rack after all.

Start several of those species, show people pics, and they'll be fighting each other for them at the swaps.

The problem for me is that I've already got the ones I want. ;-)

Definitely you should start some of the SA foxglove at the very least. The UT gardens has a clump of this, and it's always very pretty!

Brandon - I hesitate to post a reply because I may be leaving out something that would be really interesting since I am not familiar with most of these. But here goes -

    Agastache 'Golden Jubilee'
Aristolochia fimbriata - Variegated Dutchman's Pipe
I'm sure the milkweeds would be wonderful, I just don't know which ones :-(
Caryopteris x clandonensis 'Blue Mist' - Blue Mist Spirea
Clerodendron ugandense - Blue Glory Bower
Ceratotheca triloba - Lavender South African Foxglove
    Hydrangea quercifolia - Oakleaf Hydrangea
Papaver - mixed Poppies (mostly orange, red, and pink)
Penstemon x mexicali 'Red Rocks' - Red Rocks Beardtongue

Hope you'll be bringing at least some of this list!!!

    Thanks,
    Frances

    Frances,

I will try to keep these in mind when I start planting. I'm going to build a rack to start the seeds in because I don't have anywhere else to put them so that they can get light. I'm hoping the neighbors won't peek in and think I'm growing something besides flowers. LOL

um, well I'm a total hog of course, but my answer would be "Yes!" to anything and everything, 'cause we got nothing but waiting space....'bout all I can trade is help though (or oak firewood?). Let me know if you need any help with the rack or something.

    Hi Brandon,

We are moving to Chattanooga and hope to come to this East Tennessee Swap. I am interested in the following that is on your list:

Echinacea tennesseensis - Tenn Purple Coneflower - would have to be given away free (not traded)
Caryopteris x clandonensis 'Blue Mist' - Blue Mist Spirea

Whatever we get will have to do pretty well in mostly shade. I may be able to plant some in a flower box on the front which I believe will get full sun.

Is there anything you are looking for that I could bring to you?

    Katie & Rich
