Have you heard anything about time or location? It's surprising that there is no information on-line or advertising, that I have seen, with it being this close. I will never figure the TFofGC out.

I saw fliers when I was at Pope's. I didn't really pay much attention, but I'm pretty sure it was World's Fair Park and 9AM.

This is a big plant sale put on in Knoxville every spring by the local federation of garden clubs. Proceeds go to support horticulture-related education.

It is called the "Talahi Plant Sale" because it was originally held every year in a local park called Talahi Park. A few years ago it moved because it got too large for the park, and now it is held in World's Fair Park instead.

According to the Pope's website link I've included it appears the Talahi sale has moved back to Lakeshore Park!Parking on the World's Fair site was too much hassle.

It seems like there have been far fewer "neat" plants at the Talahi sales the last few years. If I remember correctly, they used to have a lot of unusual stuff a few years back. The last two years, I haven't even bothered to buy anything. I got there early to make sure not to miss anything, but all I saw plant-wise was lots of stuff that I could have found at Home Depot for probably less money. They have lots of plants, but nothing that catches my eye. Has anyone else noticed this?

Sleep in and wait until they mark things down at the end..this was fun when it first started but now not any good buys now..higher than my favorite nursery.
Their attendance keeps dropping and every year they have to mark more and more down at the end..go they and maybe, you get a good buy.
