Hi everyone, My name's Hazel, and I just moved to Thompson's Station in December. I spent the last 16 years in SO CAL so I'm pretty much clueless about what to do here. I know that for this first spring, I'll probably mostly watch and see what comes up.

My big question is - I'm having a 6' Privacy fence put in (for the benefit of a couple of big doggies) and I know that they are not things of great beauty. I have ideas of what I want to do on the inside, but I'd like to plant some kind of screen to soften the ugliness from the street side. I'd like something fairly tall and narrow. That side of the fence will get afternoon and evening sun. Any ideas would be very welcome.
