Hope this weather is not another teaser. Mother nature loves to tease us gardeners. Just so it would be no more that a light frost! We too have been planting indoors and moving, dividing outdoors. So anxious about the spring swap.

I'll stick my neck way out and say that I will bet a light frost will be the worst we get and that we are likely not even going to get that. But, I'm still not going to stick all my seedlings out just yet. I'd rather pay the florescent light bill than to take the chance. Two more weeks and we're homefree unless something changes.

Preswaps on the swap exchange forum have slowed down in the last few days. I guess everyone's out in the sun playing or working.

We usually have dogwood winter when dogwoods bloom (evidently started today - It's really cool), then it will warm up & then we have blackberry winter when the blackberries bloom.

Regardless I've really enjoyed the last few days, tilled up a nice sized section & planted lettuce. I have good sized tomato plants inside & if I could find my Wall O Water's, I would normally have a few of them out for early tomatoes.

Ticks are out in full force already. My house is backed up to some woods & the ticks are always bad here.
