May Day Celebration & Plant Swap

If you enjoy exchanging seeds or plants, browsing information or chatting about gardening, then this is the place for you!

All Baptist Senior Plus and St. MaryÂs Prime Life members are invited to join in the springtime fun.

Thursday, May 1

10:00 a.m. Â 2:00 p.m.

James WhiteÂs Fort, 205 E. Hill Avenue

Visit booths from StanleyÂs Greenhouses, Keep Knoxville Beautiful and spend time with experts from the UT Ag Extension Office. Walgreen Drug Stores will provide free sun screen lotion. Skin care and cancer prevention information will be provided my Dr. Toivo Rist and Dr. Matthew Doppelt.

Tables, refreshments and a free gift provided for all participants.

If you are planning to trade, please bring seeds or plants in sandwich bags or small containers. Remember to label each item.

Participants are also encouraged to swap gardening tools, lawn art/decorations, birdhouses and feeders, books, magazines and ideas!
