| my daughter has been "getting into gardening" as she sees me doing it. She is 4.5years old. what about sunflowers? We went to the Earthday celebration at Shelby farms a couple weekends ago and my daughter saw these seed packets and begged me to help her grow them. I have some orka and basil seeds that I got from the swap that we started this weekend as well. We started those like I remember doing in elementry school. I put them in wet paper towels. Well I actually wetted the paper town and let me daughter put the seeds on there, and fold the papertowel in half. We then put them wet paper towel containing the seeds in a ziplock and placed the bag in the window seal. We came back last night, a few days later to check on them and they were sprouting so we moved them to starter soil cups. She was so excited. |
